The magic of stitching.....

Anderson's Farm: if you missed out on getting a place or decided not to join when
this was a mystery quilt but wish you had we are taking bookings for a March 2017 start
when we will also have fabric packs available in my
new collection 'High Meadow Farm' (see picture below).

Here is a link for more information and to sign up, you can choose to just have the patterns
with the etched raw button each month or there are several 'extras' that you can choose to have with month 1.

If you really want the hand painted button option then please email us to check availability and price.

I am still busy working on my 6 pointed stars, its the perfect 'go to' project when I want
to stitch but I dont know what I want to stitch - if you know what I mean!

I am using the laser cut 1" yarn dye fabric hexagons and the 1" laser cut 6 pointed stars fabric pack

If you fancy making some of these here is a link to all the different sizes and
shapes of pre- cut papers that we stock.

Do you have a fabric glue pen or two? I know I have several so that I have one with every project!
This one by Sewline comes with one refill.

The refill are interchangeable so no mater what brand of glue pen you have, you can get
any refill, don't forget to stock up on refills as there is nothing worse than running out.

We have Apliquick packs back in stock for the stitcher who 'needs the lot' or each item is available
separately. The revolutionary Apliquick tools which I love really help making the tiniest pieces of appliqué so simple.
For a tutorial on how they work, please follow this link to my blog where you can find it and other tutorials.

For those of you who tried to order the mini sewing kits last week, I do apologise as we
had entered them into the system incorrectly and so you couldn't order one.
The error is now fixed thanks to one kind customer who let us know there was a problem.

I always feel like doing some Christmas stitching for myself after Christmas, we all get caught up
in the food preparations that we run out of time for stitching but the holiday mood is still with us into January
so I find myself sewing Christmas stuff then.

This pillow is from 'Scandinavian Christmas' which is a five part pattern set which comes as a pack
or as individual patterns any of which would make a great pillow just as this one.

Well its time for me to get back to my designing, I am working on the projects for 'Stitch The Day Away'
events and am looking forward to meeting lots of you in the coming year.
We have places in March (Anni Downs) and September (Natalie Bird) here on the Sunshine Coast.

bye for now
