Friday on my mind

LQSHeader
It's hard to believe Friday has come around again, but I am really looking forward to the weekend - are you?

If you have been following Lynette on her Facebook page you will know that she is currently visiting the Tokyo International Quilt Show at Tokyo Dome.

She loves this show and has been looking forward to going, so we have our fingers crossed that when she returns she will bring with her some exciting new products to offer to you.

In the meantime, Summer has been busy cutting kits, and one of her favourites is

Shepherds Cottage Bag

The shepherd is nowhere to be seen but the sheep are happily grazing in the front paddock.   Featuring appliqué, embroidery, English Paper Piecing and some machine piecing, this bag appeals to young and old.

Measures approx. 26.5cm x 29.3cm.

You will need to add threads and swivel hooks and we also have the optional pre-cut 1" hexagon papers.

Pattern is also available separately.

Do you know that we have a large selection of bag handles and accessories available?  We have everything from magnetic clips, to swivel hooks, to extra strong thread.

Or if you would prefer to have a pre-made handle on your bag rather than a fabric handle, have a look at our selection here.

Another favourite bag is the Birdie Inn Bag.

If you love English Paper Piecing and yarn dye fabrics, this design was made for you.  We have packs of pre-cut 1/2" yarn dye hexagons to speed you along with this project as well as the paper or water soluble hexies,  and again, you can choose between fabric or pre-made bag handles.

Browse our selection of cream yarn dyes on the bolt to choose your background fabric for this bag. You will need 0.5m for the bag outer and pocket top.

And don't forget Miss Brown Bird to finish off your embroidery.

Approx bag size is 16" x 12".

Printed or downloadable patterns are available.

Mrs Hens Needlecase
is also back as a kit.

We just don't seem to be able to keep up with this one. Perhaps it's the combination of chickens and bees that makes it so popular.
A very sweet appliqué and embroidery design on the needle case and scissor keeper.

Also available as a printed pattern or download it now as a digital pattern.

We have just a few of Lynette's pre-printed calico bags left in stock.

Be quick to make sure you don't miss out on this limited edition bag.

Here is a close up of the design ...

Great for taking to class and if you love embroidery, why not embellish your bag by highlighting some of the design?

And finally a couple of reminders....
