Quilt Sherpa and I along with everyone in the office are busy packing everything ready to take to Quilt Market
which is in Houston at this time of the year. It's the show where we showcase all the new fabrics and patterns.
Hopefully as it will be halloween while we are there I won't have as much trouble as I did with him last year!
With Christmas just around the corner I thought it was time to showcase
some of the kits we have available and as you can see Miss Eva has given the 'Let It Snow'
tabletopper the thumbs up!
The raw wood buttons fascinated her... we have 'Let It Snow' available as a kit which includes
the colour pattern, fabrics and the raw wood button pack or as a pattern only so you can
use fabrics from your stash.
Christmas Friends pillow - with four sweet little windows
that each have a little festive scene in them. The kit comes with a colour pattern,
hand painted snow man button and the fabrics. You will need to add threads and toy fill.
This one is called 'Snowmen Make Me Smile', named because I used pom pom braid around the design
which make me think of snowballs - as you can see Mr Snowman is pulling the sled with
his snowgirlfriend and her pet cat!!
I don't know about you but I love to decorate our home - Christmas, Easter, halloween and birthdays.
My favourite is Christmas, there are 12 different designs in these cute stitchery ornaments,
each mini pattern comes with the raw wood button included - choose the ones you want or get all 12
and have fun stitching. I used the Cottage Garden Threads 'Hugs and Kisses' red for these ornaments.
We have been busy tidying the store room as we slowly reduce the space we are
using in the building ready for a new tenant and happened on a box of
these lovely braid packs and ribbons which we thought we had sold out of long ago!.
Christmas Eve - such a special night. Don't you just love these hand painted
reindeer buttons and Mr Snowman is making his appearance on this design too!
Running Reindeer, this lovely table topper has embroidered
reindeer around the edge with simple pieced stars in the centre.
We have kits available that include the original fabrics used or the pattern only.
My book 'Stitch It For Christmas' is filled with lots of smaller projects making it good value for money.
Wonky Santas, I adore this quilt.
Appliqué, embroidery and some fun wonky log cabin borders, you can make this quilt any size you want.
This sample is made using my 'Winter Village' fabrics, we have fabric
kits which include all th fabrics, pack of wooden buttons (each tree has a little wooden star button on its top)
and a colour pattern or traditional paper pattern.
These fun plastic buttons are perfect to make something have that lovely festive feel
without breaking the piggy bank!
bye for now
