Oh, look at this....
We have been tidying the stock room and have discovered in a box tucked away at the back what will be the very last
to make 'A Dog's life'
quilt in the original colour way (see picture above).
This week has been parcel delivery week and we have had fun opening all the boxes to discover
the new goodies inside. What is it about these gorgeous scissor charms
- I always end up having to have a new one :)
they make great gifts for your sewing friends and of course for yourself!!
Summer has been cutting kits for 'Home, Family and Friends'
. This is a sweet little wall quilt
that has lots of fun techniques - as you can see from the little cat pillow, there are instructions for a total of four different little designs in the pattern each of which could be made individually or put together to make a wall quilt.
If you are looking for something to hold your threads while working on a specific project then
these thread holders
are ideal. There are a few different designs and they are a great price.
My new assistant, Miss Eva loves being photographed -
so you can make this gorgeous quilt :)A Kittens Tale
started to come to life after I had created the first block
which showed Hugo the Labrador finding the kitty in the tree -
the other blocks were designed after that one and the quilt was born!
I have had several festive projects in various magazines recently which has been rather fun. The magazines should
be available at your local newsagents or quilt shop.
Todays Quilter, a gorgeous UK magazine, had a whole supplement filled with my festive projects
using fabrics from my 'Festive Fun'
collection. My Christmas table is going to look fabulous this year :)
: There was a final instruction missing from the printed instructions for this lovey table runner project - please see the replacement page below. It's nothing monumental that's missing - just that you need to cut the HSTs down to size once they have been made. Thank goodness it wasn't that we told you to make them too small!
bye for now
