Last weekend I hosted 'Stitch The Day Away' here on the Sunshine Coast
with guest Anni Downs. We had a fantastic two days, sharing some
time with like minded stitchers.
Meet, Donna and Yvonne who were kind enough to come for the day to roam the tables
making sure everyone was on track with their
projects while Anni and I did our demos for each table.
These two ladies were the viewers choice winners for the
mug rug swap that we hosted.
These area few of the gorgeous and varied mug rugs that we in the swap :)
Everyone was given the same stitchery/applique design to work with and the finished dimensions,
it was very inspiring to see so many variations.
Your in luck as we have just a handful of kits from the weekend available,
if you miss out on a kit then we have traditional paper patterns.
My Scissor Keeper
opens to reveal a place to safely store 2 pairs of scissors,
the inner pocket protects their tips.
As you know I love combining appliqué, stitchery and English paper piecing into
something practical, this bag which I
named Shepherds Cottage Bag combines all my favourite techniques.
We have just made some kits for this bag in these lovely smudgy fabrics.
There are also traditional paper patterns or downloadable
pdf patterns available for this project.
Here is the link for more info.
The quilt in the background is 'Butter Side Up' which uses fabrics from my
Bread and Butter collections.
We have kits, pattern and Bread and Butter yardage.
Back in stock are these very cute sharp tiny Japanese
bonsai style scissors
I have had a lovely weekend catching up on some stitching with
my feet up, I hope that you are having or have had a great weekend too.
bye for now
